Pixar’s Toy Story has always held a special place in the hearts of the multimedia creators of Freckled Sky. So when Pixar reached out to collaborate on a new musical adventure for Disneyland, they jumped to the occasion.

“TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure”, was just presented on the most immersive stage ever created at Disneyland Paris. This music-driven, epic adventure through the Pixar universes, takes the audience on a spectacular journey to the worlds of Toy Story, Coco, Up, Monsters, Inc., and Finding Nemo.

Immersive Live Stage

Freckled Sky collaborated with the magnificent Disneyland Paris team to elevate the story for the “TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure”. They brought their signature mixed-reality production expertise to create a cinematic experience on a live stage. In this production viewers cannot distinguish what is happening on the stage from what they see on the screen from their favorite animated movies. The Freckled Sky team created Pixar-style multidimensional scenes by building seamless connections between multimedia, scenery, and performers.

Freckled Sky’s performance in America’s Got Talent: The Champions – Episode 203 – consisted of performing a video projection dance routine where the two dancers are portrayed as puppets traveling through different worlds.

OTHER AMERICA’S GOT TALENT PERFORMANCES

Freckled Sky‘s audition –  Episode 1002 of America’s Got Talent – consisted of combining video projections depicting rain effects and colors, water, and dance to portray the story of a man and woman trying to stay together in the face of an omnipotent being. Moved by the performance, Howard Stern pressed his Golden Buzzer to send Freckled Sky straight to the Quarterfinals. In Episode 1005, Heidi revealed that she wanted to use the Golden Buzzer on Freckled Sky, but Howard beat her to it.

Freckled Sky’s Week 2 Quarterfinals performance in Episode 1014 of America’s Got Talent, consisted of combining video projections depicting tall crystals and colorful silhouettes, water, and dance to portray the story of a man and woman that are unable to stay together despite their best efforts. The duo danced to Tom Odell’s “Can’t Pretend.” Freckled Sky finished in sixth, seventh, or eighth place in America’s Vote.

Trinity Irish Dance Company is celebrating Chicago’s extraordinary dance scene, the “Made in Chicago” 312 Series, presenting artists and dance companies direct from the 312 area. Trinity is set to perform at Chicago’s historic Auditorium Theatre on February 2, 2019 at 7:30 PM.

Trinity Irish Dance Company is known as the birthplace of contemporary Irish dance and is returning to Chicago for the first time in over a decade. Called “sophisticated and commanding” by the Los Angeles Times and “impossibly complex” by The New York Times, Trinity has sold out shows around the world and at distinguished venues throughout North America, including the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC; the Joyce Theater in New York City; and Royce Hall in Los Angeles.
