]]> Photo Lab Experience: Living Art with Alexa Meade

Alexa Meade is internationally recognized for her style of painting on the human body to create scenes that look like paintings. The mixed-media artist makes use of optical illusions in her installations to turn real life people into seemingly 2D works of art.

Alexa Meade will be at the Photo Lab experience at the Fifth Avenue Apple Flagship Store on Saturday, November 16th. This is an in-store workshop for people to explore taking photos that look like acrylic paintings. Alexa Meade will share her creative process for painting on the human body to create scenes that look like paintings. The audience will get hands-on with iPhone to snap photos of one of Alexa Meade’s painted models and edit this image in the VSCO app to look like a painting with texture and depth.
