Alexa Meade is showcasing her artwork at 29Rooms in San Francisco this week. 29Rooms visitors can now become one with Alexa Meade’s work of art. Grab a hand-painted vest, hat and umbrella and jump inside the space created by Alexa. Funky colors and patterns are painted all over the walls. The pop-up exhibition for Refinery29 is an Instagram-ready art exhibition where pop-art meets pop-up shop.
After three incredible years in NYC and a stop in LA, Refinery29 is bringing its imaginative spirit to San Francisco for the first time. Bay area fans can come experience the 29Rooms: Turn It Into Art tour and celebrate the transformative power of art across 29 magical installations, including Alexa Meade’s installation. Alexa will be at 29Rooms San Francisco from June 21-24, 2018.
Launched in 2015, 29Rooms is where you can experience Refinery 29’s imaginative spirit IRL. The exhibition is comprised of 29 unique spaces that showcase a range of creative disciplines, from poetry to painting to responsive technology. Throughout the space, a broad range of artists, talent, and brands collaborate to create an inclusive, interactive, and highly visual space meant to unlock visitors’ imaginations, spark dialog, and fuel self expression.
