
Ice Theatre of New York‘s 40th Anniversary Home Season took place on May 2, 3 & 5 and featured two-time World Champion, Ilia Malinin who received a standing ovation after his performance at the Home Season.
The Home Season featured a World Premiere by the ITNY Performing Apprentices “Hip Hip Hooray.” As well as pieces from ITNY’s vast 40 year reparatory Lark Ascending (1989), Arctic Memory (2017), Alberta Biography (1988), When Atoms Embrace (2018), La Revolte des Enfants (1992), and Ensemble for Peace (2022). As well as guest artist two-time World Champion Ilia Malinin performed “Cage of Bones.”
On Monday, May 5 at ITNY’s Benefit Gala and Performance we honored Olympic Champion Scott Hamilton with the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Ice Angel Award to Anna Kisselgoff.
